Lithuania and Japan strengthen defense cooperation
They will share information on Russia and China

(ANSA) - VILNIUS, 23 SET - Lithuanian Defense Minister
Arvydas Anusauskas and Japan's Defense Ministry's Director
General of International Cooperation Jun Miura met in Vilnius to
strengthen bilateral defense cooperation.
"At a time when our countries are facing challenges created
by Russia's and China's activities and ambitions," the
Lithuanian minister said, "deepening cooperation is an entirely
natural movement. Moreover, strengthening Lithuanian-Japanese
relations is part of our nation's multi-year defense strategy."
During the talks, Lithuania and Japan agreed to continue
developing this dialogue regularly and regularly exchange
information on the activities of Russia and China.
Military relations between the two countries and
strengthening cooperation in the field of training were
discussed, too. (ANSA).
